Today's Covergirl: sitora001

I think I speak for all of us when I say Stardoll has been rather inactive for months.
Releases of new clothing are few and far between, the economy is in a slump, and last but not least, the elite group of Stardollians have been picked off by hackers & colleges.

The only interesting & noteworthy event we can rely on to occur every day is the choosing of a new Covergirl.
For the sake of consistency, I decided to create a new segment talking about our CG of the day.

On the front page this morning was a doll named sitora001, as shown in the picture below.

Her makeup could use more pizazz in my opinion, but is passable enough.

I then visited her suite and was underwhelmed.
Several rooms were locked, and the ones that were open were rather bland.
She played with the structures of the rooms to create unique spaces, but the minimalistic furnishings made the rooms look empty, creating weaknesses instead of highlighting strengths.
The rooms were just 'pretty', nothing really special or overly inventive.
Here are a few screen shots of her open rooms.

If you want to view her whole suite, click here.

I'd give this CG 3 out of 5 stars.
What do you think of today's Covergirl?

It's Been Awhile/Competition.

I started this Stardoll blog a few years ago.
My literary skills weren't polished and my posts were way too long.
I wasn't able to develop a topic and stick to it without going on a tangent.
People still supported my writing and followed my blog.
I want to give a big thank-you to anyone that followed this blog then, because I read that writing recently, and I realized it was horrendous.

Besides that apparent issue with the writing, I couldn't handle the responsibility of a blog. Keeping my followers interested, organizing contests, hiring new writers, making graphics, and even updating the blog every day was a little above my skill set.

That's all going to change.

Expect to see:
- Competitions and raffles
- Daily posts
- Stardoll news
- Stardoll fashion
- Stardoll gossip (occasionally)
- Stardoll related tutorials
- Skillfully written posts

These are all promises I can and intend to keep.
In fact, I'm going to make good on one of those right now.

For our first competition, I'm going to do one of the classics:
A prize will be awarded to the follower (you must follow the blog first yourself) who can get the most users to follow this blog.
To enter, please type your stardoll name in the comments and let me know you're entering.
All users who follow the blog for the contest must say you sent them here in order for them to be counted in the final tally.
Pretty straightforward, right?

The prize for this particular competition will be 250 stardollars.
That means I'll have to buy something from you for 278 stardollars due to the lovely stardoll tax.
*If you're a non-superstar, I'll buy you superstar gifts equaling 250 stardollars*

Are you excited about this blog's return and the new competition?
Let me know in the comments!

UPDATE: No one has been commenting, so I think it's safe to say the competition is closed.
